Hibernian Football Club - Student Coaching Opportunity

In partnership with The University of Edinburgh, the Hibernian Community Foundation provides a student employment program that includes practical experience and professional sport development opportunities.  The program is divided into three stages:

Professional Development 

  • Scottish FA Coach Education Support 

  • First Aid Training 

  • Mental Health Awareness Training  

  • Trauma Informed Training  

Practical Experience  

  • Training and mentoring delivered by Hibernian skilled and qualified full-time staff 

  • A positive and inclusive learning environment  

Paid Employment  

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate sports sessions to young people  

  • 10-12 hours per week 

  • £15 per hour  

  • Potential for additional hours during holidays 

  • Internal opportunities to conduct placement hours
